Authorship Guidelines

ABHIBYAKTI PUBLICATIONS is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity, transparency, and ethical publishing. Authorship credit must accurately reflect each individual’s contribution to the intellectual content of the work.

1. Definition of Authorship

Authorship is limited to those who have made substantial scholarly contributions to the work. Mere participation in funding acquisition, data collection, technical assistance, or general supervision does not justify authorship.

To qualify as an author, an individual must meet all of the following criteria:

  1. Significant contribution to the conception, design, data analysis, or interpretation of the work;

  2. Drafting the manuscript or critically revising it for important intellectual content;

  3. Approval of the final version to be published;

  4. Agreement to be accountable for all aspects of the work and to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the content.

2. Authorship Order

  • The order of authors should be decided collectively by all contributors prior to submission.

  • ABHIBYAKTI PUBLICATIONS does not arbitrate authorship order disputes.

  • Any dispute must be resolved by the authors’ respective institutions.

3. Corresponding Author

One author must be clearly identified as the corresponding author, who is responsible for:

  • Communicating with the publisher during submission, review, and publication;

  • Ensuring that all co-authors have reviewed and approved the manuscript;

  • Managing post-publication communication, corrections, or clarifications.

4. Contributors & Acknowledgements

Individuals who contributed to the work but do not meet authorship criteria (such as technical support, language editing, data entry, or administrative assistance) should be acknowledged in an Acknowledgements section, with their consent.

5. Changes in Authorship

  • Requests for addition, deletion, or rearrangement of authors after submission must be supported by:

    • A written request explaining the reason;

    • Written consent from all listed authors, including those being added or removed.

  • Changes after acceptance are permitted only in exceptional circumstances.

6. Ethical Responsibilities of Authors

All authors share collective responsibility for:

  • Originality of the work;

  • Proper citation of sources;

  • Accuracy of data and references;

  • Compliance with ethical research and publication standards.

The following practices are strictly prohibited:

  • Plagiarism

  • Self-plagiarism without disclosure

  • Ghost authorship (uncredited contributors)

  • Gift or honorary authorship

7. Conflict of Interest

Authors must disclose any financial, institutional, or personal relationships that could influence the research or its interpretation. Disclosure does not imply misconduct but ensures transparency.

8. Use of AI Tools

If AI tools are used for language refinement or technical assistance, authors must disclose such use. AI tools cannot be listed as authors and must not replace human intellectual contribution.

9. Institutional & Legal Responsibility

Authors are responsible for obtaining necessary permissions, ethical approvals, and copyright clearances. ABHIBYAKTI PUBLICATIONS assumes no liability for disputes arising from authorship claims.

10. Agreement

By submitting a manuscript to ABHIBYAKTI PUBLICATIONS, all authors confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to these authorship guidelines.
